Accessibility at Fresno State
Individuals with Disabilities
Fresno State is committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for individuals with disabilities. This page highlights key resources that support access in academics, employment, and online learning.
Students
Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) works with students to identify barriers and arrange appropriate academic accommodations. SSD also partners with faculty and campus departments to support accessible learning environments.

Online and Distance Education
Online and hybrid courses must meet accessibility standards so that students with disabilities can fully participate. Fresno State’s instructional design and OEI-aligned resources can help faculty create accessible Canvas courses and digital materials.
Getting Help
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to connect with the appropriate resource early—SSD for students, Human Resources for employees, and instructional support units for faculty planning online courses. If you are unsure where to start, contact the ATI team for guidance.
