Campus Access
Accommodations in the Classroom
The Office of Services for Students with Disabilities provides academic support services for students with verified physical, psychological and learning disabilities. Accommodations include assistive technology, alternate formats of text, testing, reading, note-taking, sign language interpreting and campus transportation. Please refer students needing classroom accommodations to Library Suite 1202, or call 559.278.2811.
Student Housing
Student Housing collaborates with the office of Services for Students with Disabilities (SSD) to establish/provide housing accommodations for its residents. A resident needing special accommodations must contact the SSD office and provide medical documentation in regards to the disability/accommodation within 14 days of submitting their student housing application. Once sufficient documentation is provided, a Access and Ability Specialist (AAS), in discussion with the student, will provide a formal letter to the personnel at Student Housing outlining the approved accommodations.
Note: Student Housing does not have elevators. If you or a family member require accommodations, please contact Anali Fuentes at 559.278.7520.
